Western Colorado’s Greater Dominguez region is a true treasure. This area provides a diverse landscape with many opportunities to recreate, discover, and enjoy its rich forests and canyonlands. However, the Greater Dominguez region needs to be protected as wilderness to ensure that future generations will forever get to experience its wonder.

A wilderness proposal has been supported by a wild array of individuals and groups, including hikers and hunters, ranchers and horseback riders, boaters, businessmen, fishermen and archeologists who have all come together to protect these great wild areas.
